(1)Judge Llywelyn: The case concerns allegations that seven persons who held seats in the Octavian Senate accepted those seats and then failed to perform the lawful duties attached to them, and that some retained scarce legislative positions in a manner amounting to abuse of office.
(2)A snapshot of the common Senate roster dated 12 August 2026 showed all seven defendants as Senators and six bills, OS-0001 through OS-0006, were open for recorded ballots during the relevant term.
(3)The prosecution charged each defendant under Imperial Penal Code 1.1.4, Failure to Comply, as the primary count, and pleaded Imperial Penal Code 1.1.5, Command Misconduct, in the alternative; the prosecution did not rely on Imperial Penal Code 1.1.9 for treason unless authenticated material was later disclosed.
(4)The principal evidence comprised the Senate bill register showing recorded ballots and authorship, archived activity and message logs from official Octavium guilds and Madrid chat, and a message sweep of 58,180 messages extending to 2026-08-16; leave or exemption records were not found and no account-level portal login audit was available.
(5)The law required the prosecution to identify for each defendant the lawful source of duty, the authority imposing it, the defendant's subordination or acceptance, and noncompliance for 1.1.4, and to prove an abuse of position that caused disruption for 1.1.5.
(6)The court received evidence that five of the six bills had authorship attributed to XyzerSup and one to KeyonLlywelyn, and that vote counts recorded in the bill register were AdviceMessage 0/6, OrdoSantiago 2/6, MarciusBValmont 0/6, JacobMSantiago 0/6, Rnaldo11111 0/6, IguroVHorrigan 0/6 and CarosJRockwell 0/6; no defendant authored any of the six bills.
(7)The archived message counts in official Octavium channels and Madrid chat were admitted as presence evidence only and do not, by themselves, constitute proof of performance of legislative duty; nonetheless the register established non-votes for the persons listed.
(8)No counsel appeared for the defence and the defence made no opening or closing statement; one defendant, recorded as IguroRichterian in the written judgment, pleaded guilty.
(9)In the application of law to fact the court found that the elements of failure to comply were made out as to each defendant adjudged guilty, and that for six of the defendants the alternative pleading of command misconduct and the treason allegation under Article 82 were accepted by the court as shown in the written judgment.
(10)The court entered verdicts as follows: AdviceMessage guilty on all charges with treason under Article 82; OrdoSantiago guilty on all charges with treason under Article 82; MarciusBValmont guilty on failure to comply only; JacobMSantiago guilty on all charges with treason under Article 82; Rnaldo11111 guilty on all charges with treason under Article 82; CarosJRockwell guilty on all charges with treason under Article 82; IguroRichterian guilty upon treason under Article 82.
(11)Sentencing was carried out as recorded: all seven were removed from the Senate; two were demoted and had two highest honours revoked; two oaths of loyalty and one penance of five tasks were ordered; three sentences of execution were ordered to be carried out at Fort Victoria, and the record states these sentences stand.
(12)The record contains variant forms of one name, appearing as IguroVHorrigan in parts of the case file and as IguroRichterian in the written judgment and verdict; the court notes the difference but the record identifies the same contested seat.
(13)The bench corrected the amount of CarosJRockwell's penance and confirmed the oath of loyalty and penance as recorded; the record states the Quartermaster register entries revoking specified honours and that these revocations may not be reversed.
(14)This judgment is final and the matter is closed, and the court so records the completion of the specified entries and orders in the official registers.
1. All seven defendants are removed from the roll of the Octavian Senate.
2. OrdoSantiago, JacobMSantiago and Rnaldo11111 are to be executed at Fort Victoria.
3. AdviceMessage is demoted to a non commissioned rank and stripped of his two highest honours and must write an oath of loyalty of one thousand characters by his own hand.
4. CarosJRockwell is demoted to a non commissioned rank, stripped of his two highest honours, must write an oath of loyalty of one thousand characters by his own hand and is set a penance of five tasks.
5. The Quartermaster shall enter the revocations of the named decorations in the register and shall not reverse those entries.
6. The court records that the two oaths of loyalty and the penance have been issued and that the three sentences of execution stand to be carried out at Fort Victoria; the judgment is final.
